Dear all international teachers,
近期，湖北省武汉市爆发新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎，疫情迅速蔓延至多个省市。正如大家所了解到的，中国政府高度重视新型冠状病毒感染的疫情防控工作，学校多次召开会议落实国家有关工作要求，积极采取应对措施，切实保障广大师生的健康和安全。学校也尤其关心各位外籍教师工作和生活状况，成立了专班负责有关工作。非常感谢大家在过去一段时间对学校工作的支持！目前，新型冠状病毒感染肺炎疫情的防控工作正处于关键时期，学校向广大外籍教师提出如下要求：
The recent outbreak of 2019-ncov pneumonia in Wuhan, Hubei Province, has rapidly spread to many provinces and cities. As we all know, Chinese government attaches great importance to the prevention and control of the 2019-ncov infection, and Henan University has held many meetings to implement relevant work required by government, taking active measures to respond to the situation, ensuring the health and safety of all teachers and students at Henan University. Our university is also particularly concerned about the working and living conditions of international teachers and has set up special leadership to organize and implement relevant work. Thank you very much for your support to and understanding of our university’s work so far. At present, we are facing a critical stage of the prevention and control of the 2019-ncov pneumonia and Henan University now requires all international teachers to:
1、请严格遵守政府的有关通知。学校已经根据教育部通知，做出了延期开学的决定，开学时间请等待学校统一通知。学校自2月17日开始本科生和研究生（36学时及以上课程）的网络教学，请您按照所属学院的安排，做好上课准备。
1. Please strictly abide by relevant government notice. Henan University has made a decision to postpone the Spring semester according to the notice of the Ministry of Education. Please wait for further notice of the opening date. Network teaching for undergraduates and graduates (36 school hours and above) will start on February 17. Please make preparation according to arrangement of your school/college/department/lab.
2、请认真履行个人事项汇报。为确保外籍教师的健康和安全，学校将实时统计您的假期行程和身体状况，请大家严肃对待，认真反馈。如您及家属出现发热、干咳、乏力以及呼吸困难等症状，请迅速向所属学院负责人汇报。
2. Please carefully provide your personal reporting. To ensure the health and safety of all international teachers, Henan University will be collect your holiday itinerary and physical condition. Please carefully provide certain information. If you and your family have symptoms of fever, cough, acratia and difficulty in breathing, please report to your school immediately.
3、请尽量减少外出。目前在汴外籍教师原则上不要离开开封，如确有特殊情况需要外出，需向所在单位请假；目前在外地（包含国内外）的外籍教师计划返回开封的，应主动向所在单位报告，批准后方可出发；返回开封的外籍教师应自行居家隔离观察（疫区观察期14天，非疫区观察期7天），待观察期结束确保无虞后可入校工作。
3.Please stay indoors as much as possible. At present, generally speaking international teachers staying in Kaifeng are not supposed to leave Kaifeng. If for special reasons need to go outdoors, please ask for leave to your school. International teachers who are currently not in Kaifeng (including domestic and abroad) and plan to return to Kaifeng, please report to your school asking for approval before starting your trip. All international teachers returning to Kaifeng should stay at home, observing for 14 days if from epidemic areas and 7 days if not. After healthy condition is ensured you can go back to work.
4、请近期不要邀请或接受外来人员来访。学校将加强校园管理，严格实施门禁制度，对外来人员和车辆进行管控。
4. Please do not invite or accept visitors. Henan University will strengthen campus management, strictly implementing access control system to manage and control visiting personnel and vehicles.
各位老师，无论您身在何处，学校都心系您和家人的平安。防控疫情、人人有责、时不我待，让我们行动起来，客观对待、科学防控，不造谣、不信谣、不传谣，为疫情防控做出河大人实实在在的贡献！
Teachers, no matter where you are, Henan University is concerned about the safety of you and your family. Prevention and control of the epidemic situation is everybody’s responsibility. Let’s take timely action, looking at the situation objectively, conducting prevention and control work in scientific methods, making, spreading and believing no rumors, and contributing to the final triumph of the prevention and control.
