Nicholas Chrimes (柯瑞思)，教授、博导，曾就职于剑桥大学克莱尔学院，任菲茨威廉姆博物馆讲解团主席，英国Chinese Weekly 杂志的专栏作家，他对英国文化，特别是教育与历史有着深入的研究和独特的视角，是一位博学的文学家和历史学家。其新书 Cambridge: Treasure Island in the Fens (HobsAerie Publishing, 2009) 已有中译本 《剑桥：大学与小镇800年》，由中国三联书店出版发行。他曾在北京大学、清华大学等中国名校演讲，并在中央电视台第九频道的《对话》节目中接受访谈。2016年10月，柯瑞思将再次访华，在中国各个大学进行巡回演讲，使更多的中国学生能够了解剑桥大学和英国的历史文化。 2016年夏季所做部分讲座摘要： William Gates Scholars at Cambridge University - ‘Medieval Cambridge University’ Cambridge University Festival of Ideas ‘Student Leisure through the centuries’ Sunday Times Oxford Literary Festival ‘Scholarly Misbehaviour’ Fitzwilliam Museum - ‘All art is Propaganda’ Kings College Legacy Alumni - ‘Stained Glass & England’s Oldest Art Gallery’ 目前在中国所从事的文化项目： 北京云居寺藏经阁——藏品展出和相关讲座，剑桥大学和北京大学联合举办 清朝青铜12生肖雕塑（展品借自伍廷芳家族后人） 大型有关剑桥大学的电视纪录片（筹备中） 主持人 出版专著： Cambridge - Treasure Island in the Fens Hobs Aerie Publishing. 3rd Ed. 30,000 copies sold. 剑桥：泽中宝岛 剑桥大学与剑桥城八百年：1209-2009, SDSX-San Lian, Beijing(3rd Printing) Joseph Needham - Li Yuese.
