Jean-claude.delaunay is an active member of the French Gabriel Peri Foundation, the president of which is Robert Hue, former General Secretary of the French Communist Party. The Gabriel Peri Foundation is directed par Michel Maso. He still regularly publishs papers in the French daily paper L’Humanité. （人道报）
In 1998, He created the “Francois Perroux Economic Research Center” at Paris-East, and became director untill 2007.He started a Collection at the L’Harmattan Publishing House. He also started the edition of a yearly Review (1999) dealing exclusively with services.
As a professor, He got an international experiment. He was invited for 6 months at the University of Loewen (Belgium) in 1972 and he was invited for one year (1985), as Senior Research Fellow, by the Economic department of the Johns Hopkins University at Baltimore, Maryland, USA. For shorter times, he was visiting the universities of around 20 countries, mainly in Europe and Russia, North Africa, Middle East and Africa. Since 2007, he has been staying in China around 6 or 7 months every year. He was invited as a visiting professor by the University of Guizhou (Guida) during the Spring 2007. He is the member of the World Political Association of Political Economy (WAPE), the President of which is Professor Cheng Enfu. Several articles from him have been published in China. He was greatly honored to be invited by Guanxi University (Business School) in November 2009, for delivering a talk on present economic situation in the world.
His main topics of research are the two following :
1) Service activities and their role in modern societies.
2) Financial and Global Capitalism.
